Changing Peoples Lives in NaaS Billion-Dollar Industry | NuRAN Wireless (NUR, NRRWF)
/

NuRAN Wireless Inc (CNSX:NUR, OTCMKTS:NRRWF) is a leading mobile and broadband wireless infrastructure solutions supplier. The company is changing people’s lives by providing connectivity to the most remote places on the planet. NuRAN is bridging the digital divide while disrupting the network-as-a-service (NaaS) billion-dollar industry with its recurring revenue model.

The impact of NuRAN’s business is life-changing. Connecting the most rural areas will have tremendous social implications. In situations where people could not access money through ATMs or couldn’t transfer money, people will now be able to bank. Rural populations will finally be able to access apps, educational services, healthcare tools, and the list goes on and on. NuRAN owns the key technology which allows for all these benefits and gives the company control over quality and costs.

NuRAN hit an inflection point during 2020 when the company realized its superior technology could be utilized better using a NaaS business model. The first contract using this model was signed with Orange S.A. (NYSE:ORAN) earlier this year to build networking sites in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The first site of which has just gone live in Cameroon.

The NaaS recurring revenue model with Tier 1 telecom companies is based upon its technology sites’ operation. The most important stat shareholders will look towards in grading those sites is the penetration rate (how many people connect). If the penetration rate of each site was a conservative 25%, the economics of the NaaS model works out to give NuRAN a 50% EBITDA. The first site in Cameroon generated a 46% penetration rate on the first day.

NuRAN has finished the acquisition and the procurement process for the next buildout of 120 more sites in Cameroon. These sites are expected to be completed in November.

“We have a fantastic business that lies ahead of us. Good numbers. 10,000 sites in five years. $250 million target revenue in five years. But aside from this, we are changing people’s lives. We are bringing something new to the planet.” – NuRAN Wireless Inc CEO Francis Létourneau

As well as offering the world’s most affordable wireless solutions backed by a model predicted to have great economics, NuRAN is also an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investor play. Socially responsible investing is a priority in today’s investing climate. Financial returns are evaluated alongside a company’s impact on the environment, stakeholders, and the planet. NuRAN’s mobile and wireless network solutions are solar-powered, connect through satellites, and have no maintenance. NuRAN is a green company connecting the most remote “greenfield” areas.

“We are green. Our social impact is so big. We are connecting people for the first time. We are enabling new economies. Sustainable development goals (SDG) laid out by United Nations. We today comply with 8 of those, and our target is to do 11 by 2023. It’s part of our DNA.” – NuRAN Wireless Inc CEO Francis Létourneau
